Before you flash
Firmware modification can fail or make a drive unusable, and no check can rule that out.
What the app does
The app reduces the risk where it can: it checks the drive and checks the firmware files before writing, asks you to confirm the drive and the risk, and writes nothing until you press and hold.
What you do
- Use an empty drive.
- During the flash, keep the drive, cable and power exactly as they are.
- Leave the app open until it finishes.
